ARCHIEXP is a studio for interdisciplinary space research and design. It was founded 2017 by the sociologist Séverine Marguin, the interaction designer Friedrich Schmidgall and the architect Henrike Rabe. The interdisciplinary constellation enables us to design spaces integratively including physical, social and digital aspects. We focus on architectures of knowledge such as offices, libraries, schools, universities, museums and public spaces, from a large urban scale to a small scale of the daily practices. We offer three innovative and interdisciplinary methods, which we have developed at Image Knowlegde Gestaltung. An Interdisciplinary Laboratory at Humboldt-University Berlin: 1. an experimentalization of the physical-virtual space, 2. a co-laborative design process and 3. design based on field investigation.
